Fri class work and homework

1. Complete 2 PEAL paragraphs for 'age' (monarch of the glen) 

-clip on youtube: search 'g322 monarch of the glen'

-complete same way you did planning for eastenders - extra blank template sheets on the front table 

-one paragraph for young and one for old (if your up for the challenge, try a comparative approach where u compare young/old!) 

2. Have your section b fact sheets you complete yesterday/ for homework

-look at potential mock exam questions below

-with these, you could start to make essay plans - so you are prepared as to what you would write in mock exam 

-you could read over some of the previous model answers we read together for help

Homework: to revise for mock Tuesday 

-section a: be ready for gender, age or ability/disability : know your terms and practice your PEAL paragraphs! 

-section b: be ready for anything on technology (digital technology/technological convergence/proliferation of hardware)..... Know your key terms, film facts and start making essay plans for potential topics!

June 12	“Cross-media convergence and synergy are vital processes in the successful marketing of media products to audiences.”  To what extent to you agree with this statement in relation to your chosen media area?
June 13	Evaluate the role of digital technologies in the marketing and consumption of products in the media area you have studied.

Thur class work and homework

1. Finish both male and female PEAL paragraphs for east Enders clip. (Clip is on mac #2 if anyone wants to watch it again)

2. Section b revision:  Get 2-3 A3 paper.  At top write 'digital technologies/proliferation of hardware/technological convergence' and 'synergy/cross media convergence on the other'. Write down ALL skyfall and my brother the devil facts on the a3 sheets.  

***Remember all stages of filming (production, marketing, distribution, exhibition/consumption, exchange) 

****remember to discuss audience 

****remember to think about debates / advantages and disadvantages in your facts as u should do this in essay
